mental health nursing...

(Study study study @ Panera...)

I learned, I possibly had some characteristics of "Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder":

"Anxiety & fear over losing control over situations, objects, people. Perfectionist. wants life to be predictable & organized. Excessive neatness or cleanliness. Devotion to work, productivity & preoccupation with detail. Difficulty making decisions leads to procrastinations & stubbornness. Rigid & concrete..etc.."

This falls under "Cluster C" of personality disorder -- of the fearful & the anxious.

edit:: Okay, I have all the listed characteristics for OCPD. Dang it! But it's okay with me. God made me to be the way I am. Unique & special, me! :o)

No signs/symptoms of psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar mania, depression, eating disorder, or delirium,..etc. ( yes! :o) lol )

Through working two jobs & going to school, I learned...my level of anxiety was: "moderate to severe." Marked by:

"Limited ability to focus, speech rate & volume increased, wordy. Restless. ANS (fight or flight) responses begin. Feels overwhelmed. Cannot focus on the bigger picture, disorganized,..."

Which is precisely why I quit my most stressful job in order to reduce my anxiety...
And...I need to chill. (Seriously!)

All in all, I passed my class with flying colors. So proud,so relieved, so tired!!!!

Learned a lot. Broadened my scope.

Prayed a lot.

Grateful...a lot.
