so it begins..

I've been starting to exercise with my sis. Walking/running in our neighborhood in the morning...couldn't be more difficult. Every morning I am involuntarily awakened to get out of bed to go outside in the cold----I think it was 100% easier to go to the gym. But now, I am determined. I can get a great workout for free. No driving, no monthly fees, no waiting.

And so it begins... Fitness.

mind over matter

I noticed that I've recently become more...lazy & maybe intolerable in some aspects. Maybe it's this juncture, maybe it's just me. I think it's just me. I'm physically sick & I have no idea why...I shouldn't be. I do very little compared to what I used to. But maybe that's why.
I should be more proactive, is my conclusion.
Finally, I remember a very "catchy" birthday card that I read at Borders a long time ago that said:

"Everything is mind over matter. If you don't mind, then it doesn't matter..."

the color black...

Very unusual, I think. But I'm becoming more drawn to the color black, instead of my all-time favorite color white. White was not just an all-time favorite, but more like an obsession I had. :o) It's weird & bizarre to think that I could feel this way because I used think that the color of the person reflects their personality. And personalities...preferences don't drastically change over time.

I still love white & I always will. It represents to me...cleanliness & purity, which are 2 things I definitely strive for in my life. It's bright! It also reveals everything whether you want to or not. And it's so easy to see & hard to miss. It can't be hidden. That was why I loved white..

The reason behind the black preference... because...even if there is a stain or mess, you can't really see it. It's not as noticeable & it can just disappear from your eyes. It allows some parts to be unseen, unnoticed. If you want to see it for the way it is, then you'll have to look closer or more carefully next time.
Not that I've recently had new things to hide but, I'd like to know that if I wanted to, I can without being exposed or vulnerable.

Mostly, I like the color black more & more because it's liberating for me.
